Inspired by his very popular and illustrious father Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Nagarjuna entered the film industry in 1986, and has since starred in over 80 films. He has many National Film Awards, Nandi Awards and Film Fare awards to his credit.

Beyond his acting abilities, Nag has proved himself a talented and insightful businessman.  His commercial and pioneering business acumen provide invaluable strategic inputs to Annapurna Studios and his various other business.

A graduate in Mechanical Engineering, Mr. Nagarjuna completed his education in Hyderabad and in the USA.
